College Night Workshop Submission Guide

Workshop topics must educate prospective college students about
college education or provide specific helps or tips on saving money or getting accepted into college.

Sample topics include:

  • Researching colleges
  • Preparing for standardized tests
  • Maximizing your competitiveness
  • Applying to college/transcript helps
  • Choosing a major
  • Financial aid
  • Tips on saving money (CLEP, dual credit, etc)

Presenters must disclose in the proposal if they represent a company
or other organization that is not an institution of higher education.

All presenters are welcome to introduce themselves and their
organizations, however the focus of the workshop must be limited to
the workshop topic. Specific details concerning your college or your
organizations' products must be kept to a minimum so as not to detract from the topic the attendees are expecting to learn about.
