This expo is sponsored by HEART of Texas (
www.heartoftex.org) for the purpose of connecting
homeschoolers with resources available to them.

If you have classes, activities, sports, a service organization, or any resource that supports homeschooling

families, you are encouraged to reserve a booth at this fair.  It's a great opportunity to meet one-on-one with
families and share about the services you offer.

If you are a homeschooling family, this is your chance to ask questions, meet the people behind the names

and websites, and glean information that will help you decide what will be most helpful to you in your
homeschooling journey.

Special Guest Speaker:
Bryan Davis! Check out his bio here.
Bryan will offer two workshops during our H.E.A.R.T. Expo:

10:30 Workshop:
Creative Writing – The Power of Storytelling
In this session, Bryan Davis will explain the basic model behind most great stories. With examples from real novels, Mr. Davis will show how stories are created at each step. Those who come will leave with a better understanding of the building blocks of stories, which will help them avoid the dreaded writer’s block as they develop great stories of their own.

11:30 Workshop:
Writing out-of-this-world fantasy for a down-to-earth reason
In this session, Bryan Davis will outline the characters in traditional spiritually-based fantasy. Using clips from Lord of the Rings, he will provide memorable examples of each character type and explain why they are spiritually beneficial.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a talented, published author! Your young writers will not want to miss this opportunity.
