We are excited to officially announce the Second Annual D/FW Regional College Night, to be held at the Grapevine Convention Center on January 27, 2009! Stay tuned for details, including a speaking schedule and a list of attending Colleges, Universities, and Military Academies.

HSAA Blue Angels Basketball is sponsoring the 17th Annual State Basketball Tournament this weekend.

This exciting, entertaining and inexpensive opportunity has never before been held in our area and the fun begins tomorrow, Thursday, January 31st Games will end with THE championship game on Saturday, February 2nd when some Texas homeschool basketball team will be declared number one in the State!

The final list for the First Annual HEART of Texas College Night is in and it includes over 35 schools and universities, including representatives for most of our great military academies! We look forward to seeing you there tomorrow!

We have confirmed a location change for our first annual HEART of Texas College Night! Due to an incredible and overwhelming response from our local homeschoolers, we needed to find a large venue. The College Night will now be held at the Grapevine Convention Center. Check the College Night page for details.

Due to an overwhelming response, it is extremely likely that we will be changing the location for the College Night event on January 22nd. We will not move it too far, maybe about 10-15 minutes away from the current location. Expect a confirmation soon.

We have experienced an overwhelming response for our 2008 College Night and are excited to be able to bring this event to homeschoolers in our area! Please check back often as it looks like we might have to change the venue due to capacity limitations. If we do change our location, it will be in the same general area and we will be sure to notify all confirmed attendees via email as soon as we know.

Our first annual College Night will be held in January 2008 and it is shaping up very well.If you have children that are middle-school age or older, this is a great opportunity to talk to college/univeristy representatives to find out what they are looking for and to get advice on how to get free college. We look forward to seeing you there!

HEART of Texas partner Velocity Sports Performance of Highland Park is having a Home School Open House on October 3, 2007. The event starts at 1 pm and will give you and your family an opportunity to meet the great staff, learn about the new Home School programs they are starting, and be blessed by free food and even games for the kids.
