In addition to hearing our New Zealand featured speaker Rosie Boom at the Home School Book Fair next week, you will have a second opportunity to hear Rosie and her twin sister Penny in concert the following week. Bring your family and friends. No charge for admission. Identical twins Rose and Penelope from New Zealand like to think they would have sung their first duet in their mother’s womb. They were given their first guitars at age ten and have been singing together since. They are both songwriters and between them have written scores of songs and recorded a number of CDs. They play acoustic guitar in various styles ranging from folk to ballad to blues. Their concerts are warm and intimate, and their music has been described as heart-moving and heart-healing. They love to sing about faith and family, and bring both encouragement and a challenge. An evening with the twins is an enjoyable, yet heart–moving and motivating experience, appealing to all ages.
